Wasteland Volume 1 out today!

Our classic track from 2010, Béla Lugosi's Back, will appear on a brand new compilation album from Goth City called Wasteland Volume 1.

The press release states:

'Wasteland: Volume 1' features a whopping 27 acts in a heady mix of established and rising stars on the UK scene, with a combination of modern classics and exclusive tracks.

Featured on the compilation are Burning Gates, Rome Burns, Lesbian Bed Death, ATTRITION, The Golden Age Of Nothing, Dawn of Elysium, The Seventh Victim, Still Forever, Night Creatures, Byronic Sex & Exile, This Violent Mind, Pillars of Golden Misery, Action Directe, Deathtrippers, The Black Riders Cult, Terror Doyle, Zeitgeist Zero, Manuskript, The Glass House Museum, The Lost Souls, Chaos Bleak, Alice Nicholls, A Short Dark Stranger, Death Party UK, Stella Wembley, FTG and the Pangalactic Space Carnival, and The Angelfire Project in a veritable WHOMST WHOM of UK Goth.

The compilation will be available on digital download from gothcityrecords.bandcamp.com for £10 on Friday 7th August, with all proceeds going to PAFRAS.

BORN TO DIE ON VHS [2020 Remix/Remaster] launched today!

During the 2020 Covid-19 lock down, our new producer Steve Lethal remixed and remastered the whole Born To Die On VHS album. 

We like this new version of Born To Die On VHS much more and feel that it now sounds like the album it should have always been. 

The original had a very raw Garage Punk mix, making it sound a bit like it was on VHS. It’s still very cool, but the new version is a big improvement. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! 

The original mix is the one currently available on CD from our online store, Amazon, and the handful of record shops that still exist. When they’re gone, they’re gone forever, so don’t miss out on a future collector’s item. 

We’ll be giving a digital copy of the 2020 version of Born To Die On VHS to everyone who buys the original CD, and to everyone who has already bought it. If you have the CD, just send us an e-mail or message us on our social media, and we’ll send you a link to download it for free.
